An experienced RMT with over nine years of full time practice, we proud to say Olena Ignatyeva (Ellen) has been the longest with AllCare Physiotherapy. Previous to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), BS, Ellen practiced as a Clinical Counsellor in Poland since 2005. Even after transitioning to RMT career, the practitioner carried the same passion to support the recovery process of patients. Passion led to attain full certification in all levels of the Vodder Method of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT), (Germany, 2021). This training has made it possible to treat vulnerable conditions such as Primary and Secondary Lymphedema, Lipidema, Non-infected inflammatory conditions, Chronic sinusitis, Dermatological conditions, pre- and post- plastic surgeries and treating scar tissue. The RMT has been working as an RMT since 2019 continuously learning and adding experiences with lymphatic pathologies. Ellen is also certified in lymph taping. Additional specialty includes performance of Hot Stones massage, ISTM, deep tissue, & relaxation massage. The practitioner has been treating all levels of intensity of conditions related to ICBC cases and MVAs. Female RMT has received a special experience treating antipartum and postpartum conditions and has volunterred to practice at BC Women’s Hospital. Additional practices include Lululemon outreaches, Parkinson, Heart Disease, Alzeimer, Diabetes, and anxiety patients. As the human body’s systems are all integrated and intricately interconnected, Ellen works with an individual anatomy and current condition along with approching patients’ conditions.
